5 Ways to Create Organic Engagement on Instagram.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram or read last week’s blogpost, you know that I’ve been talking about engagement on Instagram and why it is so crucial to ensure your success. No worries if you haven’t quite caught up yet, you can read last week’s post right here.
Now that you understand how important engagement is, let’s talk about how to create some organically.
Here are 5 ways you can create engagement on your Instagram right now:
Show Vulnerability
Get real with your followers. Post content that evokes emotion. What is something that you know will resonate with your ideal client? What words trigger them to feel a certain way? What is something that you can provide for them that will have them commenting before even finishing the post?
Create Connection
Let your followers talk about themselves. It’s human nature. We all love to talk about ourselves. At the end of your super vulnerable post, ask “Have you ever felt this way?” or “Tell me about a time that you experienced this.” or “What advice would you offer me in this situation.”
Get Curious
Instagram Stories are a great way to create organic engagement for your page. You can utilize polls, quizzes, and suggestion boxes to get your followers engaging with your content. Want to know what they’re struggling with or want to see on your page? Ask them.
Find Your Tribe
Choose one of your hashtags and scroll through the recent posts. Find a few accounts that interest you or look like they might be someone you want to work/connect with. Like or comment on a few of their posts so Instagram shows their page a little love.
Support Others
Create an engagement pod! If you’re new to Instagram or you’ve just created your page, you might need a little help.. and that’s ok! There are probably other female entrepreneurs that need help too. Find a group of likeminded people, business owners with similar pages, or even some of your friends and engage with each other. Everyone wins!
